Open plan traditional stone buildings, with an undisturbed terrace overlooking the garden and pool. Our self-contained gîtes offer everything for your stay: double and/or twin bedrooms, kitchenette and living/dining room.
Location
Set in the picturesque hamlet of Peyremorte overlooking the stunning Aveyron Valley the gîtes are just a few kilometres away from the historic town of Villefranche-de-Rouergue. This beautiful area offers total peace, tranquility and relaxation.
Facilities
Just a few steps away from the gîtes is the 5x10m pool which benefits from all day sun and offers stunning views over the Aveyron Valley. The pool is shared between the gîtes and is an ideal place to relax and soak up the French sun.
Our gîtes
Harriet – 2 person gîte

Harriet is a light and airy open plan gîte ideal for two people with living/dining area, kitchenette and shower room. The bedroom can be arranged as either a king sized double or two generous singles.









Henry – 4 person gîte

Henry is a barn conversion ideal for a family of up to four people. On the ground floor there is an open plan living/dining area, a kitchenette and a shower room. There are two bedrooms on the mezzanine.









Amenities
What we provide at Gîtes Les Deux Lièvres.
- Included in the price are all sheets, towels and linens that you require and weekly cleaning.
- Private parking, on site a car is highly recommended to fully enjoy the region and its hidden treasures.
- A washing machine is available and an iron/ironing board (available on request).
- Tourist information (French and some English) and a selection of reading books (mainly in English).
- A well-equipped kitchen and a barbeque (just ask).
- Wi-Fi and internet access.
Unfortunately we do not allow pets nor do we allow smoking inside the gîtes.

Due to the age of the buildings, the Gîtes Les Deux Lièvres are not accessible to people with reduced mobility.

Yes, children are welcome to stay in the gîtes when accompanied by an adult.
All linens and towels are provided and these are changed weekly. If you are staying for a full week or more we will provide you with a small welcome pack. We suggest that you do a food shop before you arrive. All of the major supermarkets can be found in Villefranche-de-Rouergue.

Only outside and not around the pool.
The pool is open from May to September (weather dependent) and you can access it from 10:00 to 20:00 (or dusk if earlier) each day. If you would like to use it outside of these times please let us know and we will see what we can do. The pool is cleaned every morning between 08:00 and 10:00 so if you wish to use it at that time then you’ll have to fight your way around the cleaning equipment.
Yes – you are free to use the garden as you wish.
Yes – Wi-Fi is provided for you to use free of charge – you may well not get a signal in the garden due to the stone walls. The internet connection is reasonably reliable end extremely fast; however this is rural France and the service can be interrupted by the weather.
No, we don’t accept pets.
The owners live on site and will greet you on arrival and give you the keys. Please note that lost keys are chargeable.
Yes, the gîte has its own parking space.
Yes, there is a barbeque for guests to use – please just ask. You will need to provide your own charcoal.
All of our guests have access to the washing machine on site, you just need to provide your own detergent. An iron and ironing board are also available on request.
Yes. We will ask you for a credit card authorisation hold by email the day before your arrival:
Harriet: €200
Henry: €300
After your stay we will release the authorization subject to any deductions for significant damage or excessive electricity use – see below.
A reasonable amount of electricity to allow for light, heat during the winter months, and cooking is included in the price. If you use an excessive amount of electricity we reserve the right to charge you for the excess at our current rate.
Yes, but this is included in the price.
You may charge an electrically assisted bicycle however you may not charge an electric car (or similar). The electricity supply in Peyremorte cannot provide enough power.
